Kaneohe man found unresponsive in Kailua Bay identified
The Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a 56-year-old Kaneohe man who was found unresponsive in Kailua Bay Sunday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Robert Freitas Jr. by the medical examiner.
Lifeguards tried unsuccessfully to retrieve the victim on the beach.
