Man found dead in Apple conference room in Cupertino
CUPERTINO, Calif. » An Apple employee that the company described as “young and talented” was found dead in a conference room inside the company’s headquarters in Cupertino today, authorities said.
Sgt. Andrea Urena of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said the death of the male employee was an isolated incident and that no foul play is suspected.
Deputies were called about 8:35 a.m. Wednesday for a report of “a person down” at 1 Infinite Loop and found a dead man, she said. “They determined there were no other individuals involved and they believe it was an isolated incident and that there was nobody else on campus or in the public at risk,” Urena said.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office will determine how the man died, she said.
Urena wouldn’t comment on the circumstances of the death. “I can’t confirm any information regarding a manner or cause of death, or any weapons,” she said.
Apple said in a statement it is working to support the people who worked with the “young and talented” man. It declined to identify him.

Yea, an Apple crashed. No can re-boot this one.
Maybe the employee installed and ran a killer app on his Iphone.
FIRST!!!!!
Apple’s sales numbers were pretty bad yesterday.
Couldn’t face the loss. Too bad for Apple losing a techie.
Not to make light of the gravity of the situation, but maybe the loss to his stock options was too much, and he had a heart attack? Apple is in a downward spiral, with the FBI request and the poor sales. Steve Jobs is definitely missed, and Apple will never recover unless they replace Tim Cooked.
RIP!
Wow. Unreal how people take cheap shots at a persons passing.
Microsoft spy….
