Cyclists to get free Honolulu Zoo admission on Sunday

    The Keiki Zoo at the Honolulu Zoo is seen on April 14.

The city is offering free Honolulu Zoo admission to anyone who rides a bicycle there next Sunday.

The zoo will provide free bicycle valet service and a bag of prizes to the first 200 bicyclists.

The city said today the event aims to encourage people to ride bicycles for short trips instead of driving their cars.

Cyclists should enter the zoo from the Monsarrat Avenue gate.
