Hawaiian Electric Co. has restored power to all customers after a brief outage affected about 100 customers in the Ala Moana and Kakaako area, including Ala Moana and Ward Entertainment centers, a HECO spokesman said.

The power went out at about 5 p.m. and was restored shortly before 6 p.m., said HECO spokesman Darren Pai.

KHON2 said the outage delayed its 5 p.m. newscast, and Twitter users reported power being out at Ala Moana Center and Ward Entertainment Center.
