Four people were injured in a traffic accident on Kamehameha Highway near Ford Island earlier tonight.

Paramedics took a man in his 20s to the hospital in critical condition at about 5 p.m.

A 45-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were also taken to the hospital in serious condition, along with a 68-year-old woman who was in stable condition.

Police closed all eastbound lanes of Kamehameha Highway at Ford Island Boulevard just before 5:30 p.m.

Traffic was rerouted onto Salt Lake Boulevard until all eastbound lanes were reopened at 9 p.m.
