Car theft suspects flee when vehicle won’t start

Four car theft suspects were foiled when they couldn’t start the vehicle they attempted to steal, Honolulu police said.

The suspects approached a 22-year-old man just after 2 a.m. Friday morning with a weapon and demanded his vehicle.

The suspects tried several times to start the vehicle, but were unable to do so and fled the scene.

Police did not release a location for the incident and did not release descriptions of the suspects.
