Attempted Murder???? It seems kinda funny that when a drunk HPD officer rear ends a car and drives home without stopping, nothing happens. But if a kid in a stolen car gets into an accident with an HPD officer it’s attempted murder.

You not seeing this as a serious crime by a juvenile gassing a stolen car at HPD seems more than “kinda funny”.

Agree – there are double standards in this community…

If you don’t know all the details of the story, how fast they were going, if they were aiming at the police car, where the officer was, etc., you shouldn’t make judgments on the parties involved or how the law should be enforced. You should take a thinking class, then keep your thoughts to yourself.

So many juveniles doing some pretty serious crimes – – stealing a car, hitting a police officer’s car, choking a convenience store proprietor, etc. There are usually no consequences, so the only lesson learned is that crime pays, at least ’til you’re 18. Later, just teach your younger friends to carry on the tradition.

Lock um all up. Get them off the streets. More juveniles making our community unsafe.
