U.S. Marshals Task Force members and officers from the Kauai Police Department arrested 21 fugitives and executed 36 outstanding state arrest warrants during a four-day operation on Kauai that ended on Thursday.
The operation focused on fugitives who were wanted for violent crimes, including homicide, assault, robbery, firearms and explosives offenses, sex offenses, narcotics, and gang and organized crime affiliations. Marijuana and a loaded firearms were also seized in the course of the arrests.
