Ever run for public office? If so, when? Outcome?

I have never run for office before.

Other civic experience or community service?

What makes you qualified to be a U.S. representative?

I meet the qualifications as per the U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 2, Clause 2. As for credentials, I am well traveled and have lived in nine states, four countries and am better prepared for the job than someone who has little experience on the mainland or elsewhere.

Do you support the use of United States combat troops in Syria to defeat ISIS, or to end the rule of President Bashar al-Assad?

The U.S. has an old habit of manipulating governments, funding and backing uprisings and ousting leaders in other countries to install its own favored leaders or dictators. In order to achieve different results, we must try something different. In order to defeat ISIS, different tactics are necessary.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Iraq, or should those troops be withdrawn?

As a veteran deployed to Iraq from July 2006 to October 2007 from Schofield Barracks, I can tell you that we have done enough damage to that country as it is. No amount of troops will fix the problems there. Again, current results demand we try different tactics and ideas.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, or should those troops be withdrawn?

The soldiers should all be withdrawn. But no in a way that would cause a vacuum that could possibly empower a new or old force. There is also a direct correlation between our presence, the ever increasing opium production and increased heroin use in the U.S.

Should the United States recognize a Native Hawaiian government through an administrative rule or an act of Congress?

Congress was responsible for legitimizing the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the Morgan Report. As such, Congress bears the responsibility to give back what was taken and to formally recognize the Hawai’ian Kingdom once again.

What changes should be made to the federal Affordable Care Act?

The Affordable Care Act was an attempt at an improvement from what was there before. In order to take the next step forward and to get to where we need to be, changes to the act are not necessary, a whole new system is. Universal Healthcare equals Medicare for all.

Should the federal government legalize marijuana?

Marijuana was made illegal for political purposes in order to detain, search, jail, break up and villainize targeted groups and certain races of people. I completely support legalization because it will take money from jails and weapons and free it for schools, education and rehabilitation.
