Police open attempted murder case after Pauoa traffic incident

Homicide detectives have opened an attempted murder investigation following a traffic incident on Booth Road in Pauoa Wednesday night.

Police said two men — ages 19 and 62 — and a 48-year-old woman were in a car when they were involved in what was described as a traffic incident involving another car around 8:30 p.m. on Booth Road.

Following the incident, a man in the other car followed them and they reported hearing gunshots, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

Police did not release description of the suspect or the car he was driving.

The case has been classified as first-degree attempted murder.

    Any bullet holes in the car? What is the evidence the cops have that it’s an attempted homicide case? Not just the three in the car saying they “heard” gunshots, right?

    This reporting stuff is harder than just cutting and pasting the AP/CNN feed eh?
