Boy, 16, arrested in Palolo robbery

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy today after police said he restrained a 64-year-old man in a robbery in Palolo.

Another unknown male tried to take the victim’s money while the boy restrained the man at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, police said.

A patrol officer located the boy in the area about a half hour later and arrested him for investigation of second-degree robbery. He was released pending investigation.

The other suspect remained at large.

    Send him to OCCC, not detention home. Learn the hard way. Don’t need these kind of KIDS in the community.

    As a society, I think it’s safe to say that it’s unacceptable for young punks to roam around (like hyenas) targeting those weaker or older than they are. The law-abiding citizens demand safe streets and these two punks need to be put away to keep the streets safe.

    Wish he came to rob me a 59 yo handicap person. He would get to meet my friend. A .380 cal. that will shoot him dead.

    If that was my 64yr old grandfather, father, and or brother, this kid would go missing. Our judicial system will let him go back into society and keep doing this over, and over, and over again.
