The Schaefer family of Hawaii Kai — Ron, Kathy, Eric, Renee and Amber — will finally be able to talk publicly about their experience on syndicated TV game show “Family Feud” after the episodes they appear in are air starting Oct. 27.
“Family Feud,” which was created in the 1970s and has been hosted in syndication by comedian Steve Harvey since 2010, features two families that face off to see who can pick the most popular answers to a series of survey questions. Ron Schaefer said “Feud” producers told his family they are the first from Hawaii to compete on-camera.
The episodes featuring the Schaefers, which were filmed in Atlanta in May, are set to air in Hawaii on KHON-TV

Sorry, but Family Feud is one of the stupidest game shows on the face of the Earth!

They look like a beautiful family from Hawaii to me.
Perhaps they don’t look like YOU or your family, but that’s your problem.
Take your foot off the gas peddle people. it’s only a game show meant for entertainment purpose. Not every channel shows up like Discovery or Learning. If some of you hate the show, don’t watch. It’s not stupid if you get a laugh out of it here and there. You either can get a laugh out of watching Family Feud or just go to MSNBC and watch Trump reruns.
I used-to be a fan of Family Feud.
But… since Steve Harvey took over a host, 50% of the families are black.
Blacks account for approximately 13% of the U.S. population.
Steve Harvey must have insisted on a disproportional ethnic mix.
