Hawaii County police reopen Highway 11 near Honaunau
An accident in South Kona shut down Highway 11 in Honaunau for about 4 hours.
Hawaii County police issued an alert at about 1:45 p.m. and reopened the road at about 5:45 p.m.
Motorists were advised to use Middle Keei Road and Napoopoo Road as alternate routes.
