Keiki Kalikimaka contest seeks entries

  • STAR-ADVERTISER / 2015

Every year we invite kids to help us trim our pages with your holiday creations. Color, paint or sketch an ornament for our annual Star-Advertiser Keiki Kalikimaka contest and you’ll have a chance at prizes of $100, $75 and $50 cash.

The contest is open to kids age 12 and younger. No 3-D entries (don’t glue on any objects).

Each day we’ll select a finalist whose ornament will be printed in the newspaper beginning Friday. Other entries will appear on Hawaii News Now “Sunrise.”

On Christmas, we’ll run all 30 finalists and announce the randomly selected winners.

We must receive your drawing in the mail — no faxes or emails. Ornaments cannot be returned.

Include the following information, or your entry will be disqualified:

>> Full Name

>> Age

>> School

>> Teacher

>> Parent’s Phone Number

Download an entry form at 808ne.ws/KeikiKalikimaka or look for the form in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Sunday Magazine.

The last day to enter is Dec. 15. One entry per child. Children of Oahu Publications employees are ineligible. Judges’ decisions are final. All entries may be printed in the paper or shown on TV without compensation to the entrant.

Mail entries to Keiki Kalikimaka, Honolulu Star-Advertiser Features Section, 500 Ala Moana Blvd. #7-210, Honolulu 96813.
