Paramedics transported a 64-year-old man to a trauma hospital in serious condition after he was run over by a small tractor in Ewa Beach today.

At about 6:30 a.m., Honolulu Fire Spokesman Capt. David Jenkins said the man was run over by the tractor at the maintenance shop area of the Coral Creek Golf Course at 91-1111 Geiger Road.

A dispatcher described the man as a worker.

Emergency Medical Services reported the man suffered injuries to his chest, right hip and right leg.

Jenkins said he was alert at the time he was transported to the hospital.
