Strong earthquake strikes near Indonesia; no tsunami threat to Hawaii

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck near the coast of Indonesia at about 3:13 p.m. Hawaii time. No tsunami warning was issued for Hawaii.

Officials say the earthquake struck about 91 miles north northeast of Palue, Indonesia at a depth of 324 miles.

No injuries were reported.
