Police arrest man in Kahala after assault, burglary spree

Police arrested a 37-year-old man after he allegedly broke into a home in Kahala and assaulted a 69-year-old woman.

At about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, the suspect entered the home and assaulted the victim, police said. He fled in a stolen vehicle.

Soon afterward, the suspect allegedly broke into a couple of other homes in the area and attempted to steal a vehicle, according to police.

At 11:55 a.m., officers arrested the suspect on Makaiwa Street on suspicion of first-degree burglary.

    Laws mean nothing to these criminals. What do you do when the police are not there to protect you? What if that was your 69 year old mother?

    Hmm. So according to the article within a span of 25 minutes the woman got 8 years younger. At 11:30 she was 37 yrs. old and then at 11:55 she was 29 yrs. old. I gotta figure out how she does it.
