This year’s recipes: Kalbi-Glazed Pork Belly from the Oceanarium at the Pacific Beach Hotel; Waialua Chicken Wings, a mochiko chicken classic from the ’70s; School-Kine Spanish Green Beans, a standard from Hawaii’s school cafeterias; Kalua Pork and Green Onion Hash from Leeward Community College; and the Halekulani’s Macadamia Nut Cream Pie.

To order: Send $5 for each set of recipes, along with a self-addressed, stamped, legal-size (4-by-9-inch) envelope for each set ordered (for example, if you want five sets, send $25 and five envelopes).

All these recipes will help you up your cooking game in the new year.

You can make an extra donation of any amount, but please be clear about how many sets of recipes you want. Make checks payable to the Good Neighbor Fund.
