President Obama spends day at the beach

A motorcade with President Barack Obama and the first family aboard left Bellows Air Force Station after a day at the beach.
President Obama spent part of his fourth day of vacation in the islands at the beach with family and friends in Waimanalo.
In addition, Obama called German Chancellor Angela Merkel to offer condolences and assistance in the wake of the Berlin Christmas market attack, a White House press pool reported.
Obama left in his motorcade for his usual morning gym workout on Marine Corps Base Hawaii about 8 a.m. He left the gym about 9:45 a.m.
About noon, the first family and friends went to the beach at Bellows Air Force Base where they stayed for about three hours with plenty of sunshine and little wind, according to a White House pool report.
The family returned to their Kailua rental house about 3 p.m. The press pool reported that the Obamas were going to stay home for the rest of the afternoon and a “lid” was called at 3:32 p.m.

It’s nice to have a private beach in Hawaii.
Go to just about any beach on Molokai and you will have it to yourself.
I hope the lid was worthy of the choom gang !

Maybe it, is just me, but his vacations here do not seem like much fun. Especially if while lying on da beach, you think about all the tax payers money you are spending
I assure you, the taxpayers’ money has NEVER even occurred to this arrogant narcissist. He almost spends money with contempt.
Certainly he is an improvement over our prior president who assumed office with a budget surplus but when he left there was a trillion dollar plus deficit. Way to go republicans. We shall see how much worse the DonaLd can be. Nothing like ignoring conflicts of interests.
I’m sure you’ll be complaining just as often about the new orange narcissist who takes office on January 20th. Except the selfish decision made for Mr. and Mrs. Trump to live in separate cities will cost tens of $ millions per month in additional security costs. So I’m sure that you ad nauseam whining will increase?
He’s been coming here for 8 years straight yet people keep grumbling about the same stuff over and over. He’s the leader of the free world, so you figure he deserves a little time off once in a while. You rather have somebody like Putin running this country like some king? Well people need to be careful what they wish for since this will happen in just a few weeks from now.
I’d bet that the folks who have whined constantly about the cost of the Obama vacation will say absolutely nothing about the millions of dollars every month that it will cost to protect Trump Tower. The fantastic costs are being caused by the selfish decision the Trumps made to live in different cities.
No doubt this is a great relief for (the third) Mrs. Trump. Escape at last!

One of the problems I have with the O visiting Hawaii at Christmas is as far as I know, he has never once stopped by Schofield Barracks, even after all the sacrifices these soldiers have made. At least wave as you drive by on the way to The north shore.
If there is only one thing Barry Hussein Soetoro has made clear, it’s that he has nothing but outright contempt for our military or anything resembling patriotism. After 8 LONG years, his behavior should not surprise you.

I’m happy for the pres and his vacation in Hawaii. And I’m more happy that he didnt invite Caldwell and Ige to join him at the beach in their grape smugglers.

Does anyone else find it strange that the SA buries the news of the Radical Islamic Terrorist attack in Berlin in an article about Obama’s vacation? No other details offered. Could it be that the SA wants to control/limit what we know and not offend the president on his way out?
