Kunia man arrested for attempted assault of 16-year-old
A 40-year-old Kunia man was arrested Saturday after he tried to assault a 16-year-old boy with a blunt weapon, police said.
The man fled after the incident at about 8 a.m. in Honolulu, but was later located and arrested without incident in Waikiki at 7:33 p.m.
He was booked for investigation of attempted second-degree assault. Police said the two were not related.
