If they had double-decked Nimitz Hwy for a mere 500 million, this would be much less of a traffic mess. Rail would not help.

    Here we go again.

It only took them two and a half or three house to “investigate”? What happened? It usually takes five or six hours and they usually go out for lunch in the middle of their “investigation”. It’s amazing that it doesn’t bother people since “its always been done that way”. It’s time for the police to clean up their act and have almost any investigation completed in less than an hour.

It took me 90 minutes to go from Aiea to Kahala due to the lane closures. When I drove past the blockage all I saw was 5 motorcycle cops sitting on their bikes talking to BWS workers parked in the closed lanes. There didn’t appear to be any investigation going on at all, yet the highway lanes were closed for another 2 hours after that.
As is often the case, HPD lacks any sense of urgency when their actions cause inconvenience for the general public. They just don’t care how many people are affected or for how long. I even saw several cops turn on their lights and sirens just to bypass the traffic jam. Nothing worse than a cop who abuses the authority granted to them. I think Shopo runs HPD nowadays.

Where were the officers heading to??? What were the officers waiting for??? What point of the investigation was being done??? What things happen during an investigation??? You should have stopped to help them with the investigation…#MAGA

Wah wah wah ever think that the cops were called in to an emergency? Happens quite a bit with them I know hard to believe right? You expect them to just sit in traffic and wait with everyone else?

I would give them the benefit of the doubt if it hadn’t happened to me a few times when there is traffic. I highly doubt that there were that many emergencies where WHPD had to use cops from different areas. Also, if you want to see incompetence, drive through Wainanalo when one lane is closed and contra flowed. The cops let people going east and the light turns red ahead. Do you think they would be smart enough to _lace a cop at the light to keep the traffic flowing. Nope, and I counted four cops.
