A 49- year- old man was arrested Saturday after he forced a woman at knife- point to drive him to Kaneohe, police said.
The woman, 45, said the man, whom she knows, sent a threatening text message to her Friday, police said. The woman also told police the man threatened her with a knife and made her drive him to Kaneohe where he let her go without injury.
Police said the incident happened between 3:20 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday.
The man, who gave police no address, was arrested at Kualoa Regional Park at 9:40 a.m. Saturday for investigation of kidnapping and two counts of terroristic threatening. He also had three outstanding warrants.
