Hawaii’s Angela Lee retains ONE world atomweight title

ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee won the first two rounds on her feet rocking Huang with strikes and winning most of the exchanges.

Hawaii’s Angela Lee remained undefeated in her mixed martial arts career and retained her atomweight world title with a TKO victory over Jenny Huang in the main event of ONE: Warrior Kingdom today in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lee (7-0) dominated the fight and notched her first TKO victory when Huang (5-1) tapped out to strikes on the ground at 3 minutes, 37 seconds of the third round.

“It feels amazing,” Lee said. “I can not describe what I’m feeling right now.”

Lee won the first two rounds on her feet rocking Huang with strikes and winning most of the exchanges.

Lee notched her first takedown in the third round and took Huang’s back before pinning her arm behind her back and finishing the fight with strikes.
