Man charged in stolen credit card case

A 40-year-old man has been charged with theft of a credit card he used to purchase items in Waikiki.

Christopher J. Baccetti, of no local address, has been charged with unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, fraudulent use of a credit card and theft in the third degree.

His bail has been set at $15,000.

Police said Baccetti found a credit card belonging to a 61-year-old man in Waikiki Tuesday and used it to make purchases.

Officers located Baccetti on Kapahulu Avenue that afternoon and arrested him.
