Aiea grocery store employee detains robbery suspect
Police arrested a 40-year-old woman after she allegedly robbed a grocery store in Aiea.
Shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday, police said the suspect entered the store and took items from a display. The woman then assaulted an employee before she exited the store.
Police said the employee followed her and detained the 40-year-old woman until officers arrived. Police arrested the woman on suspicion of second-degree robbery, criminal contempt of court and trespass warning.
