Boy, 16, arrested in downtown robbery case
Police arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with a robbery that occurred in April in downtown Honolulu.
Police arrested the suspect shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
At about 7 a.m. on April 27, police said a 13-year-old boy was walking in downtown Honolulu when the suspect approached him. The 16-year-old boy asked for money then demanded property and threatened the victim with a dangerous instrument.
Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of second-degree robbery and released him pending further investigation.
