Highway 11 on Big Island reopened after motorcycle crash

Hawaii island police have reopened Highway 11 in Ocean View after investigating a motorcycle crash.

At about 11 a.m., police urged the public to avoid the area near the 69 and 70 mile markers for five hours.

Police said the road was reopened in both directions at about 2:30 p.m.
