Country singer Sam Hunt, whose song “Body Like a Back Road” is a Billboard Top 10 hit, will appear at Blaisdell Arena on Oct. 18.

Tickets go on sale Friday for a Blaisdell Arena concert by country music star Sam Hunt, whose hit single “Body Like a Back Road” became a Billboard Top 10 hit this spring.

Tickets — $50.50, $70.50, and $100.50 plus fees — go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or in person at Blaisdell Box Office or Ticketmaster outlets. According to the Blaisdell Center website, presale tickets will be available at 10 a.m. Thursday with password “PARTY.”

Hunt, 32, worked as a songwriter, contributing tunes for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire before launching his solo career.

“Body Like A Back Road,” released in February from debut album “Montevallo,” is Hunt’s best-performing song. Rising as high as No. 6 in April, it’s the first country song to reach the Billboard Top 10 since Florida Georgia Line hit “Cruise” hit No. 4 in July, 2013.

The arena concert is the last stop on Hunt’s tour, which began June 1 in Cleveland. It’s presented by Country 97.5 and Emporium Presents.
