Woman arrested after series of check forgeries
Police arrested a 23-year-old woman after she allegedly cashed or attempted to cash forged checks at three different institutions in the Honolulu area.
The thefts occurred between June 19 and Sunday.
Police arrested the 23-year-old woman Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of three counts of second-degree forgery, two counts of unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, two counts of second-degree identity theft, one count of second-degree theft and one count of third-degree theft.
Police are continuing their investigation.
