A flood advisory for parts of Leeward Oahu expired at 9:15 p.m., the National Weather Service said today.

The weather service issued several flood advisories throughout the day for various areas on Oahu, starting with the Windward side this morning then moving to Leeward areas later in the day.

On Thursday, gentle to moderate trade winds will persist throughout the day. Trade winds will increase on Friday, remain breezy into Saturday, then ease slightly Sunday and Monday.

While clouds and showers will favor windward and mauka areas, especially during night and morning hours, a few showers are possible Thursday afternoon over Leeward areas of all islands.
