Honolulu Hale will have blue lights in September in observance of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

Honolulu Hale will be illuminated in the color blue during the evenings in September in observance of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

The building at 530 S. King St. will be lit up for the entire month except for Sept. 11, when it will be red, white and blue in remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2011 terror attacks on the United States.

U.S. Congress designated the month of September as National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in 2001. To learn more, visit the Prostate Cancer Foundation at stepup.pcf.org.
