The Makapuu Lighthouse trail.
The popular Makapuu Lighthouse lot and trail will be closed on Thursday so a contractor can stripe the parking stalls. The trail will reopen on Friday.
The striping is the last step of maintenance work for the parking lot, which received a weather-resistant seal coat last week to extend the life of the pavement.
