A man suspected in back-to-back robberies in Pearl City is being sought by police. He is described as 18 to 20 years old, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and about 120 to 130 pounds.

CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male wanted for two counts of robbery in Pearl City.

Shortly before 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 15, police said a female had left Urgent Care Hawaii on Kuala Street when the suspect approached her from behind and “pulled her purse, dragging her along the ground.”

The culprit fled when a security guard chased him.

About 15 minutes later, police said a suspect with the same description attempted to pull a purse from another woman at Walmart in Pearl City, which is located a short distance away from Urgent Care on Kuala Street.

He fled after multiple witnesses chased him.

Police described the suspect as 18 to 20 years old, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and about 120 to 130 pounds. He has short brown hair and was wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts at the time of the purse snatching.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
