Police arrest fugitive suspected in burglary in Kalihi

HONOLULU CRIMESTOPPERS

Nhan Thanh Le, 40, wanted on a warrant for two counts of first-degree burglary, was arrested in Kalihi today.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department said they have captured burglary suspect Nhan Thanh Le.

Le, 40, was wanted on a $100,000 arrest warrant of for two counts of burglary in the first degree. Police found and arrested Le at 8:40 a.m. today in the Kalihi area.

On Tuesday, CrimeStoppers asked for the public’s help locating Le following two incidents at his ex-girlfriend’s home. On Saturday, Sept. 30, the victim received a video message from Le that showed him in her residence, police said. On Monday, Oct. 2, the victim’s family members heard noises coming from within her bedroom and found Le hiding in the closet, police said. Le fled the scene before police arrived.
