Man, 72, allegedly assaults, injures officer in Kailua
A male law enforcement officer suffered “pain and bodily injury” when a 72-year-old man allegedly assaulted the officer in Kailua Sunday afternoon.
The suspect was arrested for investigation of first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer at 4:45 p.m.
Police gave no information about the officer or details of the alleged assault.
