Man arrested in alleged Ewa Beach home burglary
A 38-year-old man is in police custody after he allegedly broke into a resident’s home and damaged property in Ewa Beach.
At about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, police said the suspect entered the home of a 47-year-old man while in possession of a firearm. Police were called and the suspect started to damage property.
While placing him under arrest, police said he resisted and assaulted one of the responding police officers.
Police detained him and found drugs in his possession.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal property damage, resisting arrest and drug-related offenses.
