High surf advisory issued for most isles
The National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory for east facing shores of Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Maui and the Big Island until 6 a.m. tomorrow.
Weather officials expect surf along those shores to between 6 to 10 feet with moderate impacts and strong breaking waves through tonight.
Strong longshore and rip currents will make swimming difficult and dangerous.
Beachgoers, swimmers and surfers are asked to heed all advice given by ocean safety officials.
