Woman dies after being struck by vehicle in Kakaako
A 64-year-old Honolulu woman died today after being struck by a vehicle exiting a driveway a day earlier in Kakaako.
Police said the woman was hit while walking south-bound on a Queen Street sidewalk adjacent to Hokua condos at the intersection of Queen and Ala Moana Boulevard.
The incident occurred about 9:05 a.m. Friday.
She was taken to a hospital in serious condition and died today of her injuries, police said.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office did not immediately release her identity.
