Driver allegedly crashes stolen vehicle in Waipahu

A 36-year-old man allegedly crashed a stolen vehicle in Waipahu and ran away before he was arrested Thursday morning.

The driver crashed a vehicle, which police determined had been stolen from a 23-year-old man, at 11:09 a.m. Thursday. The suspect fled but was arrested at 11:50 a.m., police said.

He was under investigation for driving without a license and for driving a stolen vehicle.
