Man, 55, charged in Waikiki domestic abuse incident
A 55-year-old man has been charged with allegedly choking his 33-year-old girlfriend in Waikiki.
Kevin Walts was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault. Bail has been set at $30,000.
At about 2 p.m. Sunday, police said a suspect later identified as Walts choked his girlfriend. He also has been accused of physically abusing the victim on three separate occasions.
Police arrested Walts Tuesday in Waikiki on suspicion of abuse of a family or household member.
