Firefighters stood outside after a three-alarm house fire at a townhome complex on Kaholo Street.

Fire caused severe damage to a Mililani townhouse unit tonight.

The blaze was first reported at 6:57 p.m. at a Kaholo Street townhouse complex.

The Honolulu Fire Department responded with 13 units staffed with 45 personnel.

Arriving firefighters found one unit of the two-story structure fully engulfed in flames, according to HFD spokesman Capt Scot Seguirant.

The fire was brought under control by 7:15 p.m. and fully extinguished by 8:31 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Seguirant said firefighters did an “excellent” job in containing the fire to the original unit. Neighboring units suffered only minimal damage, he said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and damages have not yet been estimated.
