Police investigating Ewa Beach carjacking

Police are investigating a suspected carjacking that occurred in Ewa Beach.

At about 8:40 p.m. Monday, police said two females were sitting in their parked vehicle when a male suspect approached them.

The suspect brandished an unspecified dangerous instrument and demanded their vehicle.

Police said the victims exited the vehicle before the suspect entered it and fled.

There are no arrests at this time.
