Falling tree seriously injures man in Haleiwa

Emergency Medical Services transported a 35-year-old man to a hospital today after he sustained an injury from a falling tree in Haleiwa.

The tree fell at about 9:30 a.m. in the area of 59-075 Pupukea Road, causing an ankle injury to the patient.

Paramedics treated and transported him to a hospital in serious condition.
