Down to Earth Kakaako holding job fair Sunday


    Down to Earth in Kakaako.

Down to Earth Organic & Natural is holding a job fair for its Kakaako store, with on-the-spot interviews for qualified applicants, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Dozens of positions are open, including deli clerk, deli cook, baker, store clerk and cashier. Starting pay ranges from $12 to $16 per hour.

Interested applicants are encouraged to print and fill out an application ahead of time. Down to Earth is also offering a $50 Down to Earth gift card for referrals that result in a hire.

Down to Earth Kakaako, a 13,000-square-foot store on the ground floor of Keauhou Lane at the corner of Keawe and Pohukaina streets, is expected to open in April. Down to Earth currently has five locations in Hawaii — Honolulu, Kailua, Pearl City and Kapolei on Oahu and Kahului, Maui.
