Angela Lee celebrated her win today in Singapore.

Mililani High School alum Angela Lee retained her ONE Championship women’s atomweight title with a unanimous decision in a mixed martial arts fight against Mei Yamaguchi today in Singapore.

Christian Lee, Angela’s 19-year-old brother, fell short in his bid to dethrone Martin Nguyen for the featherweight title, dropping a split decision after going the full five rounds. He fell to 9-2 with both losses coming against Nguyen (11-2).

The Lee siblings entered the night with a chance to become the first brother-sister duo to hold titles.

Angela Lee, 21, returned from a nearly year-long break and improved to 9-0 with her second unanimous decision against Yamaguchi (17-11) to cap ONE: Unstoppable Dreams at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

They previously met in 2016 with Lee emerging with the first ONE women’s title. Their rematch was originally scheduled for November but was postponed after Lee was involved in a car accident on Oahu.

“It’s been quite a long journey to get back here,” she said in a post-fight interview. “Tonight was a huge night for my family regardless of the outcome.”
