Man arrested Friday in death of 19-year-old Wahiawa woman

The body of a 19-year-old missing woman was located in Wahiawa Friday and a man suspected of killing her was arrested.

Police said the 19-year-old was reported missing on Wednesday.

CrimeStoppers reported that Nelibeth Albert had disappeared, and was last seen at 9 a.m. Tuesday leaving her Wahiawa apartment on Ohai Place.

Police and CrimeStoppers reported that she has an intellectual disability.

Police said the murder occurred 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Police did not say how the woman died.

Police arrested a 21-year-old man Friday on suspicion of second-degree murder.
