The Honolulu Zoo is offering free admission to anyone who rides a bicycle to the popular attraction between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday.
The 10th annual Bike to the Zoo Day promotion is being offered as a way to encourage people to ride bicycles for short trips instead of driving their cars.
Cyclists should enter the zoo from the Monsarrat Avenue gate. Free valet bicycle parking is available with prizes provided to participants.
