Hawai’i’s Kamalei Krug (4) sets up for a point during her collegiate debut in the women’s volleyball game against the Cal State Fullerton Titans tonight.

Junior setter-hitter Norene Iosia put down a match-high 10 kills and Hawaii defeated Cal State Fullerton for the 39th time in as many meetings, sweeping the Titans 25-15, 25-19, 25-21 in a Big West volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The Rainbow Wahine (7-5, 3-0 Big West) moved into second place in the conference, a half-game behind No. 15 Cal Poly. Hawaii next hosts UC Riverside (5-9, 0-3) at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Senior libero Tita Akiu finished with 17 digs. She has been in double digits in every match this season. Iosia had 11 assists for her ninth double-double of the year.

Titans freshman hitter Gabrielle Barcelos had seven kills. Senior hitter Madeline Schneider had a team-high 11 digs for Fullerton (6-11, 0-4), which has not won a set in conference play in this season.
