Police search for shooter in Waipahu attempted murder

Honolulu police have opened an atttempted murder case after someone fired a weapon at a moving vehicle in Waipahu early this morning.

The incident happened at about 2:49 a.m., according to a police report. No one was injured but the report listed the victims as a 32-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman who were in a moving vehicle.

It’s unclear if the weapon fired was a gun or something else.

The report did not list the location of the incident, nor where the suspect was located when the incident occurred.

The identity and location of the suspect is unknown, police said.
