Contra-flowing of traffic slated for 2 days near Heeia Bridge
Motorists should prepare for the contra-flowing of traffic Tuesday and Wednesday on Kamehameha Highway near Heeia Bridge in Kaneohe.
The soutbhound lane of the highway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as Hawaiian Electric Co. will be replacing a utility pole.
The pole is on the Kaneohe side of the bridge and work will begin on the Kahaluu side of the bridge. It will end near the Board of Water Supply booster station, HECO said.
Traffic will be contraflowed in the northbound lane.
